Roadsmary’s Baby Cocktail

Let’s Make a Rumsmary’s Baby

While we love a good Roadsmary’s Baby on its own, we also like taking the Road Less Traveled in everything we do. Here’s a recipe for making our Rumsmary’s Baby Cocktail – a twist featuring our barrel-aged pumpkin ale. Perfect for your next Halloween party, sipping by the fire, or just because you love scary good pumpkin everything.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 oz Aged Rum (We used Matusalem 15yr)
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
2 oz Spiced Apple Cider (We used Lyman’s Orchards)
Can or Bottle of Roadsmary’s Baby
Cinnamon Sugar (For the rim)
OPTIONAL: ½ oz Maple Syrup (if you like a sweeter cocktail)

Here’s how to make it:

Best part of this recipe? No shaker required. You can build this cocktail right in the glass.

  1. Run a piece of orange around the rim of a pint (or similarly sized) glass.
  2. Dredge lip of glass in cinnamon sugar.
  3. Add ice and combine all ingredients in the glass, finishing with the Roadsmary’s Baby. Add maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter cocktail.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and orange wheel (if you want to make it super Instagrammable.)
