Let’s Make a Rumsmary’s Baby
While we love a good Roadsmary’s Baby on its own, we also like taking the Road Less Traveled in everything we do. Here’s a recipe for making our Rumsmary’s Baby Cocktail – a twist featuring our barrel-aged pumpkin ale. Perfect for your next Halloween party, sipping by the fire, or just because you love scary good pumpkin everything.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 oz Aged Rum (We used Matusalem 15yr)
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
2 oz Spiced Apple Cider (We used Lyman’s Orchards)
Can or Bottle of Roadsmary’s Baby
Cinnamon Sugar (For the rim)
OPTIONAL: ½ oz Maple Syrup (if you like a sweeter cocktail)
Here’s how to make it:
Best part of this recipe? No shaker required. You can build this cocktail right in the glass.
- Run a piece of orange around the rim of a pint (or similarly sized) glass.
- Dredge lip of glass in cinnamon sugar.
- Add ice and combine all ingredients in the glass, finishing with the Roadsmary’s Baby. Add maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter cocktail.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and orange wheel (if you want to make it super Instagrammable.)
