Get ready for a frightfully entertaining evening at our 8th annual Roadsmary’s Baby Horror Film Competition Viewing Party! Join us on Friday, October 17th, as we showcase a thrilling collection of short horror films, each infused with the sinister charm of our beloved rum-barrel aged pumpkin beer, Roadsmary’s Baby. Prepare to be captivated by the artful and egregiously gratuitous product placement of Roadsmary’s Baby and other Two Roads items in these chilling tales. Don’t miss the chance to witness the creativity and talent of our filmmakers, as we award the top three films with well-deserved honors that very night.
Ticket Information
$15 per person includes entry to the fest and viewing of the short films
21+ Event, no babies, toddlers or infants are permitted

5:00 PM – Doors Open
7:00 PM – Screening Begins
8:30 PM – Award Ceremony
9:45 PM – Bar Closes
Short Film Details
Films are submitted by local, amateur film makers who love making movies and Two Roads Beer! Short films will be 4-7 minutes long and all must fall within the horror genre and include the following Two Roads props: Can or Bottle of Roadsmary’s Baby, A Two Roads Covid Mask, a Two Roads Bandana and a Two Roads Christmas ornament. In addition to these physical probs, the phrase, or variation of the phrase, “Take the Road Less Traveled” must be said.
The order of which the films are shown will be at random
Awards
- A judges panel will review the films prior to the screening to determine the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
- Crowd Favorite! In addition to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners we want to hear from you! At the end of the screening a QR Code will appear on the screen for the crowd to vote for their favorite film of the evening.
Each submission will be evaluated by the following criteria:
- Adherence to the horror genre, use of Two Roads props and creativity (20%)
- Story Creativity (20%)
- Overall Entertainment Value (15%)
- Overall Production Value (20%)
- Technical Merit- Sound and Visual Production (25%)
