Enjoy your favorite Connecticut craft beers knowing every sip you take supports the fight against cancer.
CT Beer Tour for a Cancer-Free Future is brought to you by Greg Hammond and the Hammond Hoptimists Team.
His mission below:
The CT Beer Tour for a Cancer-Free Future started for one simple reason: I love my dad. Ken Hammond was a loving husband, a successful businessman, a mayor, a town councilman, a church volunteer, a fabulous role model, and an amazing dad. His life was cut short in 2015 when his courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma, a terrible blood cancer, ended.
My desire to honor my dad led me to accept a nomination to compete for the title of Greater Connecticut’s 2024 Visionary of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This tremendous organization raises money that funds the most promising blood cancer research and forges collaborations to accelerate new discoveries, treatments, and cures.
Here is where YOU come in!
Our team, The Hammond Hoptimists, plan to raise $100,000 between February 29, 2024, and May 9, 2024. But we cannot do it alone.
We need your help.
Please join us on the CT Beer Tour for a Cancer-Free Future to support local breweries while fighting against cancer. You can also make a financial donation by going to The Hammond Hoptimists to make a tax-deductible contribution to LLS.
Thank you for walking alongside me and supporting our team as I honor my dad by making a difference for all who are affected by blood cancers.
In Gratitude, Greg Hammond and the Hammond Hoptimists Team
$1 from all drafts sold between 4-9pm will be donated to CT Beer Tour for a Cancer-Free Future
