Introducing, One Handed Games!
Beer in one hand. Glory on the line. Welcome to One Handed Games at Two Roads — a hop yard competition built around fast reflexes, steady hands, and the ability to perform under pressure while holding a cold beer the entire time.
Throughout the event, guests will rotate through a series of wildly competitive mini-games designed specifically to be played one-handed. Practice tents will be open across the yard so players can sharpen their skills, talk strategy, and challenge friends before stepping into live heats in front of the crowd. As the competition builds, top teams and players will battle head-to-head in high-energy rounds with spectators cheering every clutch shot, near disaster, and legendary upset.
Whether you’re sinking impossible tosses, surviving chaos under pressure, or simply trying not to spill your drink, One Handed Games is all about good beer, ridiculous competition, and unforgettable moments. Players can compete solo or in pairs, and while the games may look simple, the combination of coordination, speed, and beer management tends to separate the amateurs from the champions very quickly.
This event is free to attend and free to play, but competitors must be 21+ to participate. Spectators are strongly encouraged — because watching someone attempt athletic greatness with one functioning hand and a full pint may be even better than playing yourself.

The Games:
Cornhole Chaos
A yard game classic. Sink bags with your non-dominant hand, with a beer in the other. Four throws total.
- Scoring:
- 1 point on board, 3 points in the hole (Max: 12 pts)
- Spill penalty: -3 pts
Flip Cup Frenzy
From the dorm room to the hop yard. Flip 3 solo cups in a row using one hand against the clock.
- Scoring:
- Under 15 sec: 10 pts
- 15–30 sec: 7 pts
- 30–45 sec: 3 pts
- Over 45 sec: 2 pts
- Spill = – 3 pts
Giant Beer Pong
A larger than life spin on everyone’s favorite drinking game. Each competitor gets two tosses to get a ball in a bucket with only their non-dominant hand.
- Scoring:
- Each Bucket: 5 pts (Max: 10 points)
- Spill = -3 points
Growler Gauntlet
Our main event of the competition is a timed obstacle course. Spin around 10 times on a “dizzy bat” and proceed across the balance beam, duck-under ropes, all while zig-zagging from growler to growler. Finish by ringing the bell. Fastest times get all the glory.
- Scoring:
- Fastest Overall = 15 pts
- Top 25%: 10 pts
- Next 25%: 7 pts
- Middle 25%: 5 pts
- Last 25%: 2 pts
- Spill = 5 sec penalty
Event Scoring:
Individual scores will be kept for each competitor through all four games. For duo’s, the higher score for each event on the team will be used towards the team’s final score! Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishing competitors or teams.
