Two Roads is asking artists to show us what “taking the Road Less Traveled” means to them for a chance to win $1,000 and have their art immortalized on a Two Roads beer release and a 30ft high fermenter in our brewery. Our “Road Less Traveled” philosophy led us to creating craft beers that are unique versions of some of the world’s most classic beer styles. Now we’d like you to show us how you take the “Road Less Traveled” with your art and we’ll help share it with others who appreciate your creativity and our beer!
Our contest is open to artists in all states where Two Roads is sold. 5 finalists will be chosen by voting from Two Roads fans themselves. The winner, selected by a panel of Two Roads employees, will receive $1,000.00, their art on a Two Roads beer label and on a 30 foot tall fermenter in the brewery. Second place will receive $250.00 and third place will receive a swag pack from Two Roads valued at $100. The top 3 finalists will be invited to an unveiling at the brewery. CONNArtists Contest Overview
Our contest is open to artists in all states where Two Roads is sold! There will be prizes awarded to the top 3 artists and the top 3 finalists will be invited to an unveiling at our brewery. The top 3 finalist’s artwork will be on display on Saturday, August 12th at Two Roads Brewing Company in Stratford, CT. The 3 finalists will be chosen on our website via a voting platform by Two Roads fans, themselves!
The first place winner, selected by a panel of judges, will receive $1000.00. Additionally, the first place winner of our CONNArtists program will have their work showcased on one of our fermenters inside Two Roads Brewing, and their artwork will be featured on a 16oz can for a brewery only beer release! The first runner up will receive $250.00. Third place will receive a Two Roads swag pack valued at $100.
All art entries must be submitted by Monday, May 15th, 2023 at 11:59PM EST.
Official Rules and Submission Details
Contest open to U.S. residents of ME, VT, NH, NY, MA, RI, CT, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, CO, DC and MN. Entrants must be 21 or older.
Two Roads Brewing (TRB) will accept submissions until 11:59 PM EST on Monday, May 15th 2023.
Images of two dimensional entries (no sculpture or 3 dimensional art) must be submitted via the digital application and easily reproducible on a large scale.
Consumers will vote to select the top 5 finalists. Votes are limited to one person per day. From these 5 contestants, a panel of judges will select the winner and two runner ups based on a preset criteria.
All artwork must be an original concept of the artist.
Art Guidelines
2D submissions only. Art can be a drawing, painting, digital art or graphic design. Art must be uploaded via a digital application.
Art must have an aspect ratio of 7w:9h. Art must be reproducible for display on our fermenter (vertical format) as well as on the limited can.
Art should depict subject matter relating to the artist’s own “Road Less Traveled” interpretation.
Artists retain ownership of the submitted artwork, however, the artist agrees that all artwork submitted may be reproduced by Two Roads Brewing for the purpose of promoting any aspect of CONNArtists competition.

Winner Selection
Two Roads fans will vote on TwoRoadsBrewing.com from Tuesday, May 16th to Monday, June 5th, 2023 to pick the 5 finalists. VOTES ARE LIMITED TO ONE PERSON PER DAY.
Judging will take place beginning on Tuesday, June 6th.
Art will be judged by a panel of Two Roads employees. Two Roads Brewing reserves the right to pick a panel of judges as they see fit.
Judging criteria is as follows and is equally weighted
APPEARANCE – Visually attractive
DESIGN – Appropriate use of design elements (form, line, color, texture)
ORIGINALITY/CREATIVITY
WORKMANSHIP – Good technique/Item appropriately finished
SUBJECT – Item fits into category/theme of contest
Prizes & Awards
(1) Grand Prize – The Grand Prize Winner’s art will be reproduced and displayed on a fermenter at Two Roads Brewing as well as a can label for a brewery only beer release. Grand Prize Winning Artist will receive $1,000.00 and will be honored at an unveiling event at the brewery. Our Grand Prize winner will also get invites for 10 friends to attend the event. *transportation not included.
(1) First Runner Up Prize – 1 First Runner Up Winner will receive a $250.00 check and have their art featured at Two Roads Brewing on Saturday, August 12th, 2023. In additional their art will be featured on our Two Roads Brewing social media accounts. *transportation not included
(1) Second Runner Up Prize – 1 Second Runner Up Winner will receive a Two Roads swag bag with items valued at a total of $100 and have their art featured at Two Roads Brewing on Saturday, August 12th, 2023.
